BASEBALL PROGRAM

Since 1952, Amityville Little League has proudly served the Amityville community by providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment for children to learn and play baseball and softball. Our mission is to develop young athletes through teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, confidence, and lasting friendships. Amityville Little League continues to grow, with an exciting influx of new players, dedicated volunteer background checked coaches, and strong partner organizations helping raise the level of play across our program. This momentum was on full display during the Spring 2026 season, when both of our Majors and Minors Divisional teams, ages 8–16, led the way by becoming Interleague Champions. Our accredited Little League programs welcome players of all skill levels, from first-time beginners to experienced athletes looking to compete at a higher level. Through quality coaching, player development, and a strong community atmosphere, Amityville Little League is building a program where young players can grow, compete, and create unforgettable memories. SOFTBALL PROGRAM (for Girls)

Amityville Little League is proud to continue expanding our Little League offerings, which officially launched a new Softball program for girls in 2025. The program has quickly gained popularity and momentum within our community over the past few seasons with the creation of Team Surge ( 9-10u) and Team Sparks (7-8u) As part of Amityville Little League’s continued growth, our softball program provides young female athletes with a fun, safe, supportive, and competitive environment to learn the game, build confidence, and develop strong fundamentals. Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners learning the basics to athletes looking to grow and compete at a higher level. With dedicated volunteer coaches, strong community support, and a focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, player development, and lasting friendships, Amityville Little League Softball is helping create new opportunities for players and families throughout Amityville and surrounding communities. Amityville Little League is proud to partner with Warrior Nation Sports Inc. to provide players from Amityville and surrounding communities with an opportunity to continue their development at a higher level of competitive travel baseball. Established in 2021 and based in Amityville, Warrior Nation Baseball is focused on developing young athletes through quality coaching, structured training, and competitive play. The program emphasizes player development, confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, and a winning mindset both on and off the field. Warrior Nation’s coaches are experienced, qualified, and background checked, with a primary focus on helping players build the skills needed to compete at the next level of baseball. Amityville Little League is proud to partner with RPM Baseball, led by former professional pitcher, Greg Modica. Since 2003, Greg has trained hundreds of baseball players, helping them to advance to NCAA Divisions I, II, III and a few who have gone on to play in Major League Baseball. RPM Baseball has it's Premiere Training Facility in NYC. Greg Modica has brought that same professional grade training and development to Amityville Little League's players and coaches. Greg has helped many young athletes achieve their goals, improve their fundamentals, and build confidence to be better prepared for games while having fun fostering a love for the sport. Absolutely! We welcome new families and provide orientation sessions to help everyone get acclimated. Team coaches and league officials are also available for guidance and support throughout the season.

Player safety is our top priority. We adhere to Little League guidelines, conduct regular equipment checks, and ensure all coaches are trained in safety protocols. Additionally, we have a first aid kit on site during games.
